In the manner a person leads his life that is how he will pass away
Question
Where does this hadith appear: "In the manner a person leads his life that is how he will pass away and leave this world, and the manner he passes away he will be resurrected on the day of Qiyaamah"?
Answer
The meaning of this appears in certain authentic Ahaadith.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

وعن جابر قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «يبعث كل عبد على ما مات عليه» . رواه مسلم (مشكاة #5345)
(وعن جابر، قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: " يبعث ") أي: يحشر يوم القيامة (" كل عبد على ما مات عليه ") أي: من العمل خيرا كان أو شرا فيجازى به (رواه مسلم) ، وكذا ابن ماجه، وفي رواية أحمد عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا: " «يبعث الناس على نياتهم» ". (مرقاة)
