Ghusal on the morning of eid
Question
Sunnats of eid is to take a bath and wear the best clothes one has. Many people they take a bath and start to wear new or best clothes from the night of eid (after maghrib or Esha), will these people get the reward of the sunnats of eid?
Answer
The Sunnat is to take a bath on the morning of Eid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(وسن لصلاة جمعة و) لصلاة (عيد) هو الصحيح كما في غرر الأذكار وغيره.
قال الشامي: (قوله: وسن إلخ) هو من سنن الزوائد، فلا عتاب بتركه كما في القهستاني. وذهب بعض مشايخنا إلى أن هذه الاغتسالات الأربعة مستحبة أخذا من قول محمد في الأصل إن غسل الجمعة حسن، وذكر في شرح المنية أنه الأصح وقواه في الفتح، لكن استظهر تلميذه ابن أمير حاج في الحلية استنانه للجمعة لنقل المواظبة عليه، وبسط ذلك مع بيان دلائل عدم الوجوب. والجواب عما يخالفها في البحر وغيره. ( وندب يوم الفطر أكله ) حلوا وترا ولو قرويا ( قبل ) خروجه إلى ( صلاتها واستياكه واغتساله وتطيبه ) بما له ريح لا لون ( ولبسه أحسن ثيابه ) ولو غير أبيض ( وأداء فطرته ) صح عطفه على أكله لأن الكلام كله قبل الخروج ومن ثم أتى بكلمة ( ثم خروجه ) ليفيد تراخيه عن جميع ما مر ( ماشيا إلى الجبانة ) (الدر المختار 2/168)
