Performing Esha and Fajr Salaah with Jamaat
Question
In the Hadith it comes to read Esha and fajr with jamaat, one would get all night reward, does this mean in the masjid or if one reads at home with jamaat would he get all night reward?
Answer
The thawaab of jamaat performed in the musjid is obviously greater. The namaaz that was done at home in jamaat, if it is done with a valid excuse e.g. one lives at quite a distance from the musjid, 3 – 4 kilometres away, then he will also gain the same thawaab.
