Stipulating that one will teach his wife how to recite Qur'an as mahr
Question
Say if a mahr was stipulated that the man must teach his wife quraan during the marriage and before he taught her quraan he wants to marry another woman. Must he first finish teaching his first wife because that was her mahr before he marries another or can he marry already?
Answer
We wish to know who did he refer to when he stipulated the mahr as the teaching of the Qur’aan. If someone had advised him, then why does he not refer to that same person when he is confronted with this situation.
