Taking care of one's husband and one's father

I live in a town about 50km away from my parents. I stay with them every weekend and try to do as much as I can to please them. My mother plans on going to do my sisters confinement in Joburg for a week. She wants me to come and stay with my father and younger brothers for that week. I must close my afternoon Madrasah for that week and cover up the lost time during the weekends. I must also leave my husband and tell my mother in law to cook etc for him for that week. My husband feels that this is unreasonable. I want to please him but I also want to please my mother. Who has more right over me and how can I resolve the issue without offending my husband and my mother?
