Inheritance
Question
My maternal grandmother died. She had two daughters only (both alive). Grandmother has one sister. How will the warasat of deceased be divided?
Answer
The estate will be divided into three equal shares and distributed as follows:
Each daughter will receive one share
The sister will receive one share
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
