Hadith Query
Question
I have seen this in posts but without any reference. Is it possible to get the exact text and where its from?
Jibrail (alaihissalam) once came to The Holy Prophet (Sallallahooalahi-Wasallam) and said Allah has given me the knowledge to count every leaf on earth, every fish in the sea, every star in the sky and every particle of sand on earth, but there's only one thing I cant count. Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) asked Jibrail (Alayhis Salaam) what is it? Jibrail (Alayhis Salaam) replied: When one of your Ummah recites Durood or salaams to you the blessing Allah showers upon him becomes impossible for me to count.
Answer
We have not come across this.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
