Giving a gift with a condition
Question
If when giving a gift a person puts a condition that the موهوب (the person given the gift) can only spend on a specific thing then is the condition valid?
Answer
The gifting will be valid however one should disregard the condition. One may use the gift in whichever manner one wishes.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
