Intrauterine insemination
Question
Iui is intrauterine insemination. In this semen of husband is taken in a vial, it is then injected directly into the uterus of woman. My freind had a female child 10 years after marriage by this procedure, she wants to have it one more time. Is it permissible for her?
Answer
Generally, this entails uncovering of the private areas, and uncovering the private areas is not permissible unless for valid reasons. This is not a valid shar`ee reason.
