Difference between a Nabi and a Rasool

What are the differences between a Nabi and a Rasool in terms of roles, responsibilities and duties?
Answer
Both the nabi and rasool are recipients of wahi. Generally, the word rasool is used for that nabi who comes with an independent or a new code of shariah and a newly revealed book.
