Not feeling attracted to women
Question
My son is 23 years old and a hafez ul quran. We have been talking to him about getting married and after many months he has now confided to his mother that he does not feel attracted to women but perhaps more to a man. He assures her that he has not done anything wrong and he has been looking for Duas to pray to help him overcome this illness. Can you help please urgently?
Answer
It is best for him to refer to some shaikh or senior aalim who is near him and who knows how to advise in these types of problems. Since it will take him some time to get over it, it is not something that can just be treated through an email. Hence, we do not feel it appropriate to give any detailed reply in this respect.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
