Pausing between both Salaams
Question
Which is the correct method of making salaam at the end of salaah. Is it one salaam to the right and therafter one salaam to the left or does the face have to be brought back to the center after the salaam to the right and then salaam to the left.
Answer
One should not pause in the middle between the two salaams.

ويسلم تسليمتين تسليمة عن يمينه وتسليمة عن يساره (الفتاوى الهندية 1/76)
قال الشيخ الكنكوهي في الكوكب : [ كان يسلم تسليمة واحدة ] أي يأخذ فيها من تلقاء وجهه و يختمها إذا مال وجهه إلى اليمين و كذا الحكم في تسليم اليسار (الكوكب الدري 1/289)
أقول : و ما جاء في بعض الأحاديث (أنه صلى الله عليه و سلم) سلم من تلقاء وجهه (جامع الترمذي 1/66) فذلك لا يدل على التوقف بين التسليمتين (لأن التوقف بين التسليمتين لم يثبت في علمنا) بل يدل على أن التسليم الأول و الثاني يبدآن من ذلك الموضع من غير توقف كما يفهم من كلام الشيخ الكنكوهي
