Question
A girl died leaving her mother, a son and husband. Ten thousand dollars has to be divided. How much share each heir receives?
Answer
Her estate will be divided into 12 equal shares and distributed as follows:
Husband will receive 3 shares = 2500
Mother will receive 2 shares = 1666.66
Son will receive 7 shares = 5833.33
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
