Consent of the girl for nikaah
Question
When the Imam leads the nikaah, does he have to ask the girl with two witnesses or just two witness is enough. In our locality people say Imam should ask the girl and they get offended if the Imam doesn't go.
Answer
The consent that has been obtained by her parent is sufficient.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
