Question
Man passes away leaving mother, two brothers and a wife (no children). How is his estate shared by the people mentioned?
Answer
The estate will be divided into 24 equal shares and distributed as follows:
The wife will receive 6 shares
The mother will receive 4 shares
Each brother will receive 7 shares
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
