Inheritance
Question
Humble request for advice regarding inheritance.
A woman passes away leaving behind:
-3 daughters
-1 sister
-4 brothers
-Her parents and husband have passed on.
How will the estate be distributed?
Answer
The estate will be divided into 27 shares and distributed as follows:
Each daughter will receive 6 shares
Each brother will receive 2 shares
The sister will receive 1 share
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
