Wakeel's son discharging the zakaat without the father's permission
Question
My father was made a wakeel to discharge someone's Zakaat. It was kept in a place where I had access to. I took out some and gave it to some needy person legible for it with out taking my father's permission. Will the zakaat be discharged?
Answer
If your father had permitted you to do so then the zakaat will be discharged provided it went into the hands of the right recipient.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
