Being in contact with a na mahram
Question
I have a male friend who is a non Muslim. I like him. I have feelings for him but he just treats me as a best friend. What should I do? Should I stop speaking to him or change my attitude on him? Please suggest to me something so that I to treat him as a friend.
Answer
It is haraam in Islam for a girl to be in contact with a na mahram. More so when he is a disbeliever, having contact with him is even more serious. You should immediately sever all ties with him and sincerely seek repentance from Allah Ta'ala for the sin you have committed.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
