Slave girls
Question
I would like to understand the limitation or placement of the ladies referred to in Surat al Muminoon 5-6 are the ones who "the right hand possesses" : "And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame;..." Are these ones 'who the right hand possess' part of the 4 wives or are the outside this 4 wife limitation?
Answer
This is apart from the permission to marry four wives.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
