Husband and wife calling each other baby
Question
Please let me know that can a Muslim husband and wife call each other “baby” as normally call “jaan” or other names with love? Because we normally see in Western countries that they call each other “baby” although their intention is just a lovely name.
Answer
Baby does not sound like a respectable and suitable word.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
