Ring ceremony
Question
Is ring ceremony (Engagement, Mangni) haraam in Islam as this ritual involves physical contact of exchanging rings between the new proposed couple before the Nikaah?
Answer
This has no basis in Shari'ah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
