Ramadhaan & FastingFactors that break and don't break the fast

Question

A person during ramadhan gargled his mouth and spat the water properly. Then he sucked and some water from his lip/mouth may have gone down his mouth. His intention was not to drink the water from his lip or mouth. If water went down his mouth is kaffara necessary?

Answer

Since he is not sure, his fast will not break.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Q: If he has ghaalibuz zann that the water went down his mouth, is kaffara necessary?

A: The fast will only break in the case one is certain. However you may refer to other Ulama.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
