Sitting on the Dastarkhaan
Question
When having meals, is it fine to have the food and utensils placed on a sheet, whilst we sit on the carpet? Or is it necessary for there to be a sheet for the food and utensils and a separate sheet to sit on?
Answer
Both are permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
