Going to a male doctor for eye laser treatment
Question
May a woman go to a male doctor for eye laser surgery (to correct her eye sight)? There are no female doctors available to do the operation.
Answer
If there are no female doctors available, then it is permissible. However she should be accompanied by her mahram and not be in seclusion with the doctor at any time.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
