Financial assistance from the government
Question
I want to know if age pension is halaal to take irrespective of whether a person needs it or not? Particularly if that person has never worked in his life. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Answer
If it is a financial assistance that the government renders to it's citizens upon reaching old age, then it is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
