Qurbaani animal slaughtered in a village before the Eid Salaah in the city
Question
If a person living in a town sends his animal to the village and the animal was slaughtered there before the Eid Salaah could take place in the city, will the qurbaani be valid?
Answer
The qurbaani will be valid.

والمعتبر مكان الأضحية لا مكان من عليه فحيلة مصري أراد التعجيل أن يخرجها لخارج المصر فيضحي بها إذا طلع الفجر مجتبى (الدر المختار 318/6)
قال العلامة ابن عابدين - رحمه الله - : قوله (والمعتبر مكان الأضحية إلخ ) فلو كانت في السواد والمضحى في المصر جازت قبل الصلاة وفي العكس لم تجز (رد المحتار 318/6)
ولو أن رجلا من أهل السواد دخل المصر لصلاة الأضحى وأمر أهله أن يضحوا عنه جاز أن يذبحوا عنه بعد طلوع الفجر قال محمد رحمه الله تعالى انظر في هذا إلى موضع الذبح دون المذبوح عنه كذا في الظهيرية (الفتاوى الهندية 5/ 296)
