Girls party feeding after nikaah
Question
Is there anything wrong with having an invitation from the girl's side at the time of her marriage, which is in addition to walima (on the assumption that at such a function there is a guarantee that there will not be intermingling, wastage, music, extravagance etc)?
Answer
After the nikaah it is Sunnah for the husband to have a walimah. As far as the girl's party feeding after the nikaah then this is not established in the Sunnah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
