Reciting a Surah after Surah Faatiha in the 3rd and 4th rakaat
Question
Should we recite any Surah after Surah Faatiha in the 3rd and 4th rakaat of Sunnat Ghair Muaqqadah, Sunnat Muaqqadah and Farz Salaah?
Answer
In Sunnat-e-muakkadah and ghair muakkadah Salaah it is compulsory for one to recite a Surah after Surah Faatiha in all four rakaats. However in fardh Salaah in the third and forth rakaat, one will not recite a Surah after Surah Faatiha.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
