Breaking an oath
Question
If a woman makes an oath to Allah saying that she will undergo female circumcision and if she breaks her oath she will become a kafir forever. Does she become a kaafir if she has changed her mind and does not want to undergo circumcision?
Answer
She will not become a kaafir through breaking the oath.
She will not become a kaafir, however if she breaks the oath, she should discharge the kaffarah for breaking the oath.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
