Question

I am a revert and my parents are deceased. I have siblings that are not Muslim. Am I permitted to maintain a relationship with them?

Answer

It is not permissible to be bosom friends with one’s family members that are non-Muslim. Yes, if one partakes of a meal with them just once or twice, then it will be acceptable. However, it should not be a continuous practice. In conclusion, one should only interact with them on the basis of necessity.
