Shaving the hair of the newborn baby

I was told that to shave the hair of a newborn baby boy is in the sunnah but not for a newborn baby girl. Is this true?
Answer
This is not correct. It is mustahab to shave the hair of the newborn baby boy or girl on the seventh day. For further details refer to http://muftionline.co.za/node/8302
