Reading the last two rakaats nafil of Esha seated
Question
I know that it is a sunnah to read the last 2 nafl of esha salah seated. Should one always do this, or should it be done occasionally only? Does this apply to the nawafil of dhuhr and maghrib as well?
Answer
If one performs the last two rakaats nafil of Esha sitting (without a valid excuse), one will receive half the reward of standing. Similar is the case of the two rakaats nafil of Zuhr and Maghrib.
