Hadith regarding the dua of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
Question
What is the understanding of the Dua in which Nabi (Sallahu Alahi Wasalam) requested that whomsoever He (Sallahu Alahi Wasallam) has cursed, it should be made a blessing and mercy for the cursed?
Answer
In other words, Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is teaching us that even those who are engaged in Deeni works, in spite of their piety and righteousness, they may at times be overcome with situations of anger etc. So instead of them abandoning the Deeni work that they are doing they should resort to this type of du`aa.
Q: Does this mean that all the Curses of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is a blessing?
A: Where Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) had asked for it to be a blessing it will be as blessing.
