Gathering to recite Qur'an and convey the reward to the deceased
Question
Can Mufti Saheb please advise if it is permissible to gather in the Madrasah next to the mosque to read Surah Yaseen for a foreign national who's father has passed on. Is it permissible to gather to read the Qur'an and send esaal-e-thawaab or is it bidah?
Answer
This should be done individually in people's own time and space.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
