Having a Yaseen khatam for a deceased
Question
Today, 2 years completed since my dadi passed away. We as a family decided to do a khatam of Surah Yaseen for her. Thus, we distributed Yaseen amongst us. Is it ok to do so?
Answer
Rather each person should recite a portion of the Qur'an and convey the reward in his own time and place.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
