Child being disrespectful towards his parents
Question
My question is on behalf of a sister. Her son is of 8-9 years of age and is very disrespectful towards his parents older siblings and his aunty. He feels as though he is not listened to and questions everything his parents, older siblings or aunty says to do. He does not listen to instructions however his behaviour at school is extremely good. What should the sister do? How can she stop him from doing this and to become more respectful?
Answer
The parents should explain to him in a gentle and loving manner that this is not the way he should behave and conduct.
