Keeping dogs for security purposes
Question
If things such as insurance are haraam (due to tempting fate) then does taking security measures such as private security and dogs also haraam even if you are living in a country where crime is a regular occurrence?
Answer
Permission has been granted in the Hadith to keep dogs for security purposes.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
