Girl looking for her own suitor
Question
I would like to know if a divorcee needs a wali for her second nikah or is it allowed for her to make nikah without a wali or the walis permission?
Answer
It is shameful and against the Sunnah for a girl to look for her own suitor and get married without the consent of her parents or guardians.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
