Question

If you commit a sin then repent, is that enough to get forgiven by Allah or I also need to do good deeds additional to my repentance?

Answer

It depends on the nature of the sin. If it is an ordinary sin that is not connected to anybody or any other obligation then repentance is sufficient.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
