Using animate pictures for educational purposes
Question
I would like to know about the permissibility of drawing or colouring pictures of animals, people, etc. but it has no eyes. It has been brought to my attention that a picture is not supposed to have a head. However, it was also mentioned that there is leeway with regards to this in the shariah for smaller kids. Please explain in detail for the purpose of madressa Aapas wanting to learn the correct way.
Answer
It is right that pictures are not supposed to have any heads.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
