Will one's forefathers be punished if people view their pictures
Question
I have heard from someone that if we see the pictures of our forefathers that have died, they are punished for this. I know that making picture is sin but by seeing their picture we are doing any sin?
Answer
1. If they allowed their photo to be taken and were pleased with this haraam practice, they will be punished.
2. Yes.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
