What should be done with the rope of a qurbaani animal?
Question
1. A person purchased a qurbaani animal which had a rope on. What should be done with the rope after slaughtering the animal?
2. Is there any difference in the ruling for a rich and poor person?
Answer
1. The rope should be given in sadaqah.
2. No.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(قوله ويتصدق بجلدها) وكذا بجلالها وقلائدها فإنه يستحب إذا أوجب بقرة أن يجللها ويقلدها، وإذا ذبحها تصدق بذلك كما في التتارخانية.(رد المحتار 6/328)
وروي أن النبي - عليه الصلاة والسلام - قال لعلي - رضي الله عنه -: "تصدق بجلالها وخطامها، ولا تعطي أجرا لجزار منها " وروي عن سيدنا علي - كرم الله وجهه - أنه قال: إذا ضحيتم فلا تبيعوا لحوم ضحاياكم ولا جلودها وكلوا منها وتمتعوا ولأنها من ضيافة الله - عز شأنه - التي أضاف بها عباده وليس للضيف أن يبيع من طعام الضيافة شيئا.(بدائع الصنائع 6/332)
