Calling oneself "Al-Mahboob"
Question
Is it permissible to name oneself "Al-Mahboob" intending to remind oneself and to proclaim the blessings of Allah (His love for one), without intending to boast or show off?
Answer
To take a name which can create ideas of pride and boastfulness must be avoided.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
