Wearing and displaying symbols of Hinduism
Question
Recently in my family there has been an episode. My female cousin ran off with a non-Muslim girl and has not come back since. It has been a year now. She told us that she is a lesbian and we have to accept it. What do we do? Can we make dua for her? Is she still Muslim? She recently posted on the internet pictures of Hindu gods with a red string around her hand. What do we do?
Answer
You cannot count her as a Muslim any longer when she is boastfully showing clear Hindu religious symbols.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
