Displaying good character before one's non-Muslim family members
Question
I am a revert. Does this make me responsible for my family on the Day of Resurrection if they die as non-Muslims and am I a Dayooth if the non-believing women in my life (family members) wear whatever they want?
Answer
That is not your responsibility. You will not be answerable. However, you should try and show good character when you meet them.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
