Displaying Pictures on Facebook
Question
I have seen many girls in hijaab putting their pictures on their facebook accounts. Will they be sinful?
Answer
They will be sinful for putting their pictures on their facebook accounts. Photography is haraam in Islam. It appears in the Hadith that those involved in photography and picture making will be subject to the worst form of punishment on the day of Qiyamah.
