Is assisting a needy Muslim better than nafl hajj or umrah?
Question
After one has performed fardh hajj, which is better, performing umrah/nafil hajj or helping a poor and needy person?
Answer
All these are virtuous deeds. If one is able to fulfill all then this is good. However, if one is only able to do one, then assisting a believer in difficulty is extremely rewarding and even greater than nafil hajj or nafil umrah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
