Should one go for umrah or give the money to a poor person?
Question
To which good deed we should give preference going to umrah or saving the money which we are going to spend to go for umrah and giving as a
sadaqah to a needy muslim family?
Answer
If there is a genuine needy person and there is no other means for him to fulfil his needs then obviously it is much more rewarding to take care of his needs than to going for umrah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
