Women traveling to earn

Is it permissible for women to travel for earning?
Answer
A woman is supposed to be enjoying her safety and sanctuary within the confines of her home and she should not venture out of the home unnecessarily. If there is a genuine need for her to earn a living then she should do so from home. There are hundreds of women who learnt some type of a home industry and by the grace of Allah, they are very prosperous, maybe even more prosperous than professional women.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
