Woman sitting and performing salaah in a public place
Question
A woman is at some public place (e.g park, bazar, airport) and she has to offer fardh salaah. What will be the correct method:
1. Offer salaah with qiyaam
2. Offer salaah while sitting (omitting qiyaam due to the presence of na mahrams around)
3. Offer first rakaat with qiyaam, while the rest of the rakaats sitting.
Answer
For the fardh and sunnat-e-muakkadah salaahs she must do it with all postures. What is the need for a woman to be at a public place or park unnecessarily.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
